Poem Rocket is an art-noise-indie genre-defying band, transgressing the formal limits of noise, psych-rock, pop, and experimentation with near-spiritualist transcendence. Formed in NYC c. 1992, Poem Rocket’s releases appeared on indie labels like Bear, PCP, Magic Eye, Carcrashh, Silver Girl Records, and Chicago’s avant jazz and rock label Atavistic.
